We have to be mindful of what has been called the Lowering-the-standards problem. It is signified by reducing the requirements for what is considered to be intelligent behaviour, in order to make ourselves fit into mechanic definitions of intelligence. An inverted anthropomorphism¹. Robotification? Machinification? This is especially important to me. My work puts me at risk of moving towards an increasingly mechanized view of humanity.
