I am resting my eyes on an object that looks like an old transistor radio. A few seconds later, I see that it’s actually some DVD films standing next to each other. I remember someone saying that once you have seen something in a new way, it is impossible to go back to the previous way of seeing it. Often the phrase is used to describe something that is considered a major revelation of an inherent truth, an insight, but sometimes it is just a new arbitrary fixed way of interpreting the situation.
