Scarcity has become the main scarcity of the wealthy classes. Limitations turn out to have a value, that should not be defined by what it is not, i.e. non-abundance, but in its own right. No convenience can replace the natural peace that comes from dealing with sufficient but limited resources and choices. Any other state should send us into turmoil, and giving us a nagging worry that something is not right, because it is just like that. The idea of infinite resources has always been an illusion.
